Alhamdulillah! Today, Sunday 13th July 2025, the much-anticipated Shahjalal Jamia Islamia School & College Alumni Association UK Summer Get Together and Fun Day took place at the beautiful Roding Valley Cricket Club – and what an unforgettable day it was!

Jamian Alumni travelled from across the UK – and even Canada – to be part of this special gathering. We were honoured by the presence of our Chief Guest, the respected Jonab Abdus Shakur, who delivered heartfelt words and concluded the event with a moving Special Dua.

The day was packed with excitement:

🏏 Cricket Tournament – the main highlight and crowd favourite

⚽ Tug of War, Musical Chairs, and Football Shootout kept the energy high and everyone engaged

🌞 Families, spouses, and children all had a fantastic time together under the sun

🍛 The food was absolutely delicious – featuring a mouth-watering Biryani, Daal, and Roast Chicken lunch followed by sizzling BBQs that brought everyone together!

We ended on a high with our Award Ceremony, recognising participants and creating memories to last.

💫 The spirit, the laughter, the brotherhood – it was truly a day to remember! Everyone is already looking forward to the next one, inshaAllah!
