In the spirit of unity and spiritual readiness for the blessed month of Ramadan, the UK Jamia Alumni of Shahjalal Jamia Islamia School & College once again organised a special “Ramadan Preparation” Zoom gathering.
Alhamdulillah, for the past three years, this virtual session has become a meaningful annual tradition, connecting respected Jonabs, senior brothers, teachers, and Jamia alumni from all generations across the world.

Honoured Speakers
The event was graced by three highly respected figures of the Jamia family:
Mozir Uddin Jonab – Former Principal, Shahjalal Jamia Islamia School & College
Imam Ajmal Masroor – International Speaker, Community Leader, and Jamia Alumnus 1988
Imam Syed Maqsud Elahi Sabir – Imam, Educator, and Spiritual Mentor, Jamia Batch 1993
Each speaker shared inspiring reminders on preparing the heart, mind, and lifestyle for Ramadan, emphasising introspection, discipline, charity, and spiritual growth. Their guidance created an atmosphere of warmth, learning, and deep connection.
A Global Jamian Spirit
Participants joined from multiple continents – Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, Europe, North America – showing once again how Jamia’s legacy continues to bind hearts across distances. The event reflected the strength of our community, our shared values, and the beautiful brotherhood that started within the walls of our beloved school.
