Jamia Alumnus Nadvi (SSC 2007) Completes Master of Engineering from Penn State University

A remarkable academic milestone achieved alongside full-time professional and family responsibilities

The Shahjalal Jamia Islamia School & College Alumni community proudly celebrates another outstanding achievement of Md. Multazim Refayat Chowdhury (Nadvi), SSC Batch 2007 – the successful completion of his Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering and Industrial Management from the prestigious Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), USA.

On 13 August 2022, Nadvi shared the joyous news of accomplishing one of the most challenging yet fulfilling goals of his academic life:

“Finally I did it! I do not know how I did it, but with the grace of Almighty God, I made my destination. Working full time, balancing family, and completing my Master’s degree was not easy – but it is finally done! All the sleepless nights, hard work, and sacrifices have come to an end.”

His 3.86 cumulative GPA stands as a testament to his dedication, discipline, and impressive academic ability – especially while managing a demanding engineering job in the global automotive industry and fulfilling his responsibilities as a husband and father.

A Dream Fulfilled – A Tribute to His Father

In his reflections, Nadvi expressed heartfelt emotions, dedicating this milestone to his late father:

“On this day, I want to remember my Baba once again, since it was his dream to see me at this position.”

This achievement is not only a personal success, but also a fulfilment of a cherished family dream – one built on years of sacrifice, guidance, and prayers.

From his early schooling at Shahjalal Jamia Islamia School & College, to M.C. College, to earning his engineering degree in the United States, and now securing a master’s degree from one of America’s top universities – Nadvi’s journey reflects resilience and the pursuit of excellence.

Already thriving as an engineer in the automotive sector, his advanced degree in Engineering Management positions him for even greater leadership and technical roles.
