Even the rainy weather could not dampen the spirit of the Jamia 2000 UK (Millennium Batch) as friends gathered for a memorable reunion at the beautiful Alexandra Palace Park. The gentle rain felt more like a blessing, adding charm to the day as everyone enjoyed each other’s company surrounded by lush greenery, the serene lake, and wide open spaces.

Friends travelled from near and far to be part of this special gathering – Khosru from Brighton and Hove, Mamun and Sayem from Kent, Jilani from Luton, Zaku from Cardiff, and Hatim, Monzur, Razzak, Jashim, Juber, Raju, Salahuddin and Afjal from London. The ample car parking proved convenient for those driving long distances.

The group enjoyed a relaxed boxed lunch on the lush green grass, filled with laughter and nostalgia, followed by tea and coffee from the lakeside café, overlooking the tranquil waters of the park.

It was a truly heartwarming gathering that rekindled old friendships and reminded everyone of the enduring bond of the Jamia family – come rain or shine.
